The Wolf of Wall Street names Oasis as his Australian charity of choice

Jordan Belfort, nicknamed ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ earned millions on before succumbing to drug addiction and serving a sentence for stock fraud. Now twelve years sober and an internationally renowned motivational speaker, Jordan helps people and organisations break down the barriers holding them back from achieving success. His story will be immortalized onscreen next year in a movie directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo Dicaprio.

Currently in Sydney, Belfort has chosen to support Oasis during his trip and is conducting one of his legendary motivational seminars tomorrow at the Oasis Centre in Surry Hills, to 30 young people enrolled on the charity’s ‘Get Skilled For Work’ work readiness program; he is also planning additional events and sessions with Oasis while in Sydney.

Belfort was featured this week on Channel Nine’s A Current Affair, speaking about his past and what he hopes to help Australians and the Oasis Youth Support Network achieve during his visit here.

You can watch the video at the A Current Affair website.
